A tailor-made external oak door can be designed to your requirements, accommodating virtually any design, shape and size. It's the perfect addition to an oak frame building.
The single door can take on many different designs including fully boarded, part glazed or fully glazed.
Either built within a matching oak frame, or just as a stand-alone unit, a pair of French doors opens the room onto the garden.
Manufactured as a pair, they are completely made to order and interlock with each other in the closed position.
As with all our external doors, they are available, pre-hung, pre-finished and pre-glazed ready to install.

Depending on the overall width you require, there is a choice of configurations available to allow the doors to concertina left to right or right left.Â
There are also options for a personnel door, allowing only one door to open without unlocking all doors.Â
Using a tracking system to hang the doors, we are able to calculate the weight, size and permutations of which door configuration would be best.
An adjustable hinge is paramount for all oak doors.
Why is a 3D adjustable hinges necessary?
Over time, your oak door, as it is a natural material, may, over time, slightly move in any of 3 ways.
This could mean adjusting the doors alignment laterally, vertically or side-to-side.
These clever hinges allow all 3 adjustments without having to remove the door from the frame.Â

A multipoint locking system is also known as an espagnolette (es-pag-no-let) that is set within the vertical stile of the door.
This is not to be confused with an actual cylinder lock where the key engages. An espagnolette is designed to offer multipoint points of contact to ensure the door remains true within the frame. There is added protection in terms of a top and bottom shoot bolt that engages with the door frame.
