Although your will be given a kit, the kit is very well constructed and needs no heavy assembly. In most cases, these are delivered or you can arrange collection. The timber framed porches will have an oak truss, tie beam, and loads of info on how the porch kits go together.
Each porch is oak framed and built as an easy to assemble kits. Each porch kit is has tie beams and built with precision in mind. The kits have an oak dowel for each post and joint. The porch kits will also have instructions and complete drawings.

Local business woman, Jacqueline Abusin, who owns the lovely boutique Olivia Grace in Wetherby, first contacted us through their website contact form, expressing her interest in an oak porch.
Jackie approached us to help with the porch as they are local to her home, just a couple of miles away in fact.
Amanda, who works in the showroom, e-mailed Jackie a diagram of a porch with the measurements needed on it. Jackie could then fill it in and send it back, which she did, along with a picture of the front of the property.
Jackie also enquired about a name for a builder to help with the installation and Joanne provided local builder Jack Stout’s details. He has installed quite a few of porches for their clients.
All the initial information was received by Amanda, which allowed her to give a quotation. Jackie then asked Jack Stout to visit her and go through the measurements and after this the confirmed sizes were given.
After completion, Jackie sent Oak By Design many photo’s of it, looking absolutely fabulous!
