Oak Atiums - Overview

If you're considering adding an impressive entrance to your home, then an oak atrium could be the way to go.

This oak frame can be designed to either sit flush with the face of your home or extend forward creating a more space and light inside the hallway.

These oak extensions are normally full hieght and incorporate a glazed truss above.

Oak Frame Buildings - Atriums

Oak By Design offer a bespoke quality service, meaning that all of their atriums are designed to your exact specifications.

Internally, the entrance normally has a double-height, vaulted ceilng appearance.  A staircase landing is sometimes set back giving the entire hallway a large, light open space to enjoy.

An Atrium - Oak Frame Construction

Your oak atrium is completely ready to install.  All joints are made, the oak is planed, sanded and pre-oiled prior to despatch. 

Using a direct glazing method, all accessories are included to help with the installation.  All glazing units are double glazed and where required, as in the triangular truss detail, templated to suit.

The installation as pictured show only take a few days to install and another couple to glaze.  We have completed the majority of work with our workshop, meaning that the installation is made easier and quicker for your contractors.
