Set in a small village between York and Harrogate, and tucked away behind a farm on a small business park, Oak By Design have built a fabulous showroom next to their growing workshop.

We made the move here, from a showroom in Harrogate at the start of 2017, and haven’t looked back since.

With 2 offices on the first floor, and beautiful boardroom, the rest of the space is dedicated to showing clients the products that we make.

A glazed orangery sits in the centre of the showroom, which incorporates bi fold doors and examples of our glazing system.

Leading up to the offices is an oak staircase, showing examples of oak spindles and glass balustrades.

If you’re looking for an oak porch we have a beautiful one which leads through one of our glazed external oak doors through to our workshop and bathroom.

Oak trusses, oak RSJ covers, engineered oak flooring and other external doors are all on display.

We are open to visit Monday to Friday between 9:15am and 4:00pm. We do suggest that if you plan to call in, to let us know so that we can ensure that there someone available to spend some time with you discussing your project.

We close on Bank Holidays and shut down over Christmas and the New Year, so please give us a quick ring before calling if you’re in any doubt as to whether we may be closed.

The coffee machine is always on, and in winter our cosy wood burning stove is usually lit for a warm welcome!
